This last month of October was an interesting month in terms of sales and rentals here in Port Hedland.
For sales in South Hedland we saw 28 Properties settle, 4 of those from Hedland Property Shop and 13 properties added to the market, 4 of those from Hedland Property Shop, We put 1 property in South Hedland under offer for this month. There is currently 136 properties on the market for sale in South Hedland.
For rentals in South Hedland there is a healthy supply of 126 properties for rent, and for the landlords out there, coming into the Christmas period with that healthy supply it is imperative that your managing agent ensures you achieve a tenant so you can rest assured on your Christmas holiday.
Moving onto Port Hedland in sales this month we saw 7 properties head to settlement or go under offer, 4 of those from us here at Hedland Property Shop, as far as new listings go we saw 3 properties enter the market. Currently we are sitting at 57 properties for sale in Port Hedland.
Onto the rental market in Port Hedland there is currently 53 properties in total for rent.
We have also seen a peak in the market in Newman with all of our sales listings going under offer this month.
As you can see, the market is showing no signs of slowing down, there is still a healthy supply of rentals and sales in Port and South Hedland.
For the home owner that is thinking of selling their property now is a great time, there is an abundance of buyers waiting for that perfect home, and we have seen with most of our listings that homes are going under offer with multiple offers and sometimes for more then list price!
We are still seeing a steady flow of Mortgagee in Possession homes entering the market which is unfortunately keeping the prices steady.
